We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (The new Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
Article of Faith 10.
In the scriptures, it talked about the gathering of Israel. Not just the Jews, but the House of Israel. There are twelve tribes in the House of Israel. They are Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun (the sons of Jacob and Leah); Dan and Naphtali (the sons of Jacob and Bilhah); Gad and Asher (the sons of Jacob and Zilpah); Joseph and Benjamin (the sons of Jacob and Rachel).
A history lesson here. In the past, the twelve tribes are unified as one nation. When King Solomon's son took power, they split due to disagreement. Two tribes, Judah and Benjamin remained at the Jerusalem. The other ten tribes dwelt north of the Judah nation. When the Assyrian invaded the Ten Tribes, they was carried away and scattered. As for Judah, they was invaded later on by Babylon. They was carried away, but returned to rebuild the temple. Later on they was invaded again and again. After Jesus Christ's crucifixion they was scattered throughout the world.
We believe that God will gather the people of the House of Israel together again. Right now we see one of the prophecies fulfilled. The Jews had been restored to Israel. Right now, the Ten Tribes are still lost. We know that they will be restored again. We also believe that the City of Zion, as the scriptures said, new Jerusalem, will be created upon this American Continent, it will be where Jesus Christ will reign. Which lead to the next one, that Jesus Christ will reign personally upon the Earth. Because Jesus Christ is on Earth; Earth will be changed to receive a higher glory and become a new Earth. We believe that these things will happen at some future point.
